Starting with PHOTOSHOP CS4

Our certification challenge starts this week!!

Read and follow the instructions for the activities in your book. Pages 11 - 23.

This week objectives are:
  1. Exploring the Photoshop workspace.
  2. Customizing your workspace.
  3. Opening a file in Photoshop. Click here to download it.
  4. Creating a new Photoshop document.
  5. Overview of the Tools palette. (Zoom and Hand tools)
  6. How to rotate an image.
  7. Using the Navigator palette.

Extra class work for this week:
  • Read the chapter: How to understand color management, from the PS study guide.

Homework for next week:
  • How to scan images into Adobe Photoshop.
Search in your photoalbums pictures to edit in PS.
  1. One old picture.
  2. One picture with imperfections. (dirt, dust, etc.)
  3. Two pictures to create a photomontage.
  4. One picture that needs color retouching.

Cyberbulling

What is cyberbullying, exactly?

"Cyberbullying" is when a child, preteen or teen is tormented, threatened, harassed, humiliated, embarrassed or
otherwise targeted by another child, preteen or teen using the Internet, interactive and digital technologies or mobile phones.

* 1st camera made for general public
* 1st digital camera
* At least 5 important things about digital photography
